I’ve been meaning to read Elle Casey for so long, so when I saw Amber, I couldn’t help but check it out. It sounded like a great read and while I usually don’t read a book as soon as it hits my kindle and I have time to dive into it, with Amber I started it right away. And I’m so glad that I did because it was absolutely wonderful and I completely loved it!
Ty definitely has the whole tortured-artist thing down pat. He has a lot of emotions and while he has his jerkish moments, I liked his sensitiveness. Ty can be sweet and say exactly the right thing that just makes your heart melt. I loved getting to know him and I’m sure you will to.
Ty might be the rockstar, but Amber totally stole the show - she is amazing! She’s funny and feisty and doesn’t let anything or anybody get her down for too long. She would do anything for her family, she is so dedicated to them. Amber can be very serious and she gives out great advice, but she’s also extremely fun, silly, and playful. I positively loved, loved, loved Amber - she’s the best!
Amber made me laugh so much - it was a true joy to read. I didn’t ever want to stop reading and there were several times when I could just not pull myself away. It was full of fun, heat, and humor. It will tug on heartstrings, melt your heart, make you laugh, and put a smile on your face. I adored Amber and I absolutely, positively can’t wait for Emerald and Rose’s stories!
Amber is the first book in the Red Hot series, it’s told only from Amber’s point of view and she and Ty do get a happy ending.
