Goddamnit this was so good, just go ahead and rip out my heart Sarah Searle! There are so many sweet, intimate moments between these teens but they also create such high expectations for each other that when their communication falls apart, it really hurts. Too. Fucking. Real, omg. I love that Searle shares some her original teen zine comics at the end!! The zines of Winifred's that we see are wonderfully crafted, too - it's clear that Winifred is putting her own emotions and experiences into them, even if they're fantasy. A brilliant story that cuts to the core.
