The Spirit Bares Its Teeth by Andrew Joseph White

4.0

I really enjoyed reading this book, whenever I picked it up I really struggled to put it down. I loved spending time with Silas, our main character. It’s very difficult to create good trans and autistic representation in a historical fiction, but Silas was great. I also really liked Daphne (and their relationship). The plot and pacing was great, and I liked the touch of body horror. The writing wasn’t my  favourite style, but that’s personal preference. I’d definitely recommend this!
