The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

5.0

Déjà vu. Déjà su. Déjà vécu.

"Art is about ideas. And ideas are wilder than memories. They're like weeds, always finding their way up."

And this is precisely what "The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue" is - more than a book, more than a story - an idea taking hold inside you while reading, worming its way throughout the journey, leaving you feeling invigorated... to live life and find the joy and wonder in each second, each sunrise and sunset, each smile and stolen moment.

It's been a while since a story has left me simply feeling this deeply, crying from sadness and joy, and the realisation that no matter how much time we have, it will always be too little, too short, there will always be wonders left to be seen and found, and experienced...

This book feels like a love letter to living fully - the realisation we do not have forever, and even if we did, it would still never be enough.
