Oof. This was nearly another Riley Sager DNF for me. I kept going out of a misguided hope that the ending wasn't going to be what I expected. No such luck. That wasn't the biggest problem by far, though. I do not know why I keep reading his books. They are not for me. I guess I'm just trying to understand the mass appeal at this point.
