Overall, if this is a subject matter that you enjoy, this is a five star book. It’s so beautifully written and there were passages that just took my breath away with the language that Jack London used. I’m not going give it a five however, because the subject matter was something that I personally struggled with. I didn’t like reading about all the violence among the dogs personally.
