I liked this book alright. I think TJ Klune is a bit heavy handed for me, but I also think this kind of book- so hopeful, inspiring and kind- is really needed now more than ever.
As in the first one, Chauncey steals the show. I love him the absolute most and I'd be honored if he was my bellhop, or private detective.
This book is great if you need to turn your brain off and read something happy.

Moderate: Child abuse, Xenophobia
Minor: Racism, Religious bigotry, Fire/Fire injury
The book is about formerly abused children in a broken foster system finding a true home and a family that loves them. Discussions of their trauma and past are in this book.
