Tame the Heart

This was a very sweet, wholesome, small town, yeehaw romance and a great start to a series. I love an honest to goodness grumpy x sunshine moment, almost as much as I love following along with the brothers that will inevitably be telling their story throughout said series. The way the Montgomery family is together makes you laugh and ache to be a part of it.
Some of the inner monologuing got rather repetitive (even if it was disgustingly sweet gushing about the other character), and the big secret that was held until the near-end felt like it should've been talked about WAY earlier. When the leading pair are mature adults, basic communication should be standard (especially about something so serious) in my opinion. There were times when I wanted to shake Ruby and yell at Charlie for being so blind to what was going on.
Even so, I did really enjoy both character's personalities, Charlie is a top tier caring cowboy, and I am excited to return to the town of Resurrection for the rest of the Montgomery Boys.
