I Am Heathcliff: Stories Inspired by Wuthering Heights by Kate Mosse

4.0

So I have wanted to read this collection for sooooo long and it didn't dissapointed. Wuthering Heights is one of my favourite classics of all time, an tale of jealousy, violence and poisoned love all set in the harsh yorkshire moors landscape. Every story (except the last one which fell really flat in comparison) lay down parallels or clear inspiration from the original novel, and it emphasises evermore how Heathcliff and Cathy's journey is timeless. Most are set in modern day and some from the Era of Wuthering Heights, but they all really give credit to Emily Bronte's modern tale of its time. My particular favourites were The Cord, Thicker then Blood and The wildflowers
