A pretty involving and fun look at the Legion of Superheroes and Superman's place as an alien on Earth. Johns supplies some fantastic dissection of Clark at the Daily Planet to start the story, and artist Gary Frank delivers a slam-bang series of character introductions and fight scenes in a simple story about fitting in and the weird teams that pop in from DC's Silver Age to win over the heart of even the biggest Bronze Age fan. Come on, who couldn't love the basic names of the Legion?
