Goblin Mode: How to Get Cozy, Embrace Imperfection, and Thrive in the Muck by McKayla Coyle

3.0

I expected this to be more of a cozy self-help book with more "metaphorical muck". This is, in reality, a how-to lifestyle guide for a niche aesthetic: Goblincore. It performs better in that role but I found the title a little misleading. Not something I would have picked up if I understood the premise better.

There are several references to the neurodivergent community (i.e. me) which I find interesting considering the overlap of sensory sensitivities. The amount of slimy, dirty, mucky ideas wigged me out a little in that regard but to each their own.
