ARC review. Beautifully written. A unique magic system. Humans live protected behind a wall. The magi exist everywhere else. The humans have an archaic way of thinking and religion. The banter kept me amused the whole book. The right amount of spice. Feisty FMC with an internal belief that she is bad. Reluctant prince and husband. Dark fantasy vibes. Morally grey MMC is gorgeous and lethal. Touch her and die. Forced marriage and close proximity but they end up being perfect for one another. Both very loyal to their sisters. Slow burn. A touch of prophecy. The character development is eloquent and complex. I can’t wait to read the next book to see how Sitri and Pandora’s life continues.
