As a POC, I felt seen in many ways and validated. The book offered many sexist analogies that I think would help white women see why certain actions are wrong.
This book also gave me pause to consider my own behaviors and feelings in relationship to similar situations. Was I helping or hindering?
I do wonder about the baiting tactics I feel the authors used to invoke strong feelings... Was it for the book? Rooting out performative white allies? Or simply using the playbook of the ultimate racists to prove a point.
