Murder Most Unladylike by Robin Stevens

2.0

Disappointment. I very quickly figured that this was a middle school book. Daisy and Hazel are in a boarding school in England in 1934. The two consider themselves detectives. I found Daisy (the president of the detective society) to be a bit of a bully to Hazel. Hazel (the secretary) was completely overrun by Daisy and was too meek. The author tried to make reasons for this and make it ok but it was not well done. The book was slow with lots of repetition and made it easy to skip parts. I know that I am not the target audience for this book but not sure that I would recommend it to a YA either.
