I love age gap romances; this one is a bit different and little tab00er than the other age gap romances I have previously read, but oh how I loved it.
Toren Grace always loved his goddaughter but not in the creepy way you are thinking, he was a caring, loving adult in Kenzi's life since the day she was born. Now before you go clutching your pearls or getting your p@nties in a twist you need to know that her parents along with Tor, her dad's best friend, were all teenagers when she was born. There is no huge age gap here, it's about fifteen years, and there is no underage s3x.
Tor and Kenzi's feeling for one another start to change her senior year of high school, there are a lot of emotions that wreak havoc on both Toren and Kenzi's heart. This is an emotional, slow burn story about two people who try to figure out if they should follow their hearts or their brains. Will it be worth putting their hearts on the line if no one will accept them? Will they be able to stay away from one another and not listen to their hearts? You'll have to read the book to find out because I won't be spoiling anything for you. I will say that listening to the book adds a lot to the story, so if you are able to, I would recommend listening to the audiobook. Noelle Bridges and Mason Lloyd add depth to the characters, and through the emotions they portray, a beautiful and, at times, heartbreaking story.
Happy Reading or Listening!!!
