This Is How You Lose the Time War is a truly unique reading experience unlike any I’ve had before. If you were to ask me to describe the story contents, I’m not sure I could cohesively do so, since I’ll admit I was confused for a decent portion of the story. But, it was still interesting and held my attention for sure. This novella is quite heavy on prose, so if flowery language isn’t something that appeals, this read might be difficult. However, the romance that blooms between Blue and Red as they find letters from each other (in increasingly bizarre ways), is magical and heartwarming. A love story that is certainly one of a kind, a wild ride from start to finish. I am left feeling puzzled about what exactly took place, but it was a pleasant read nonetheless.
