Blue Dahlia
by Nora Roberts
This book had so many characters with their own stories and POVs that Stella and Logan, the main ones, didn’t get enough focus. It felt like the theme of women at different stages of motherhood was given more importance than the romance. Because of that, I didn’t really connect with Logan or feel much chemistry between him and Stella.
Logan saying he loved Stella after less than five interactions felt completely out of the blue. They didn’t even spend a whole night together before deciding to get married, which made their relationship feel rushed and unconvincing. I just wish the book had focused more on the romance instead of trying to cover so many other things.
