A Star Is Bored
by Byron Lane
This funny, poignant, and delightfully revealing story captures a young man incubating in the truly unique environment of Hollywood and celeb culture. While not about Carrie Fisher, the veil is thin and the veneer lovingly applied. Lane pulls no punches - his heroine is far from perfect, his hero far from confident. A pair of emotionally immature adults coming of age together has rarely been more insightful, unpolished, or enjoyable.
