This book had been in my TBR forever, so I was excited to finally pick it up!
I’m all about short chapters… in fact, I ENCOURAGE it. It makes the book go so much faster when the chapters are shorter! But dare I say… the chapters here were almost TOO short? Sometimes they were less than a page, and it made the flow of the story a little weird and choppy.
Each twist was so confusing and gave me more and more questions… and then when the big reveal came, I wasn’t too shocked or intrigued by it. It didn’t feel very believable, so it was a little anticlimactic for me.
Overall though, it was a decent read, and I can’t wait to read more books from this author.
