Dawn's Light
by Terri Blackstock
I was riveted, as usual. This story revolves around Beth, the younger girl in the Branning family. She witnesses something horrible, and is in danger of her life. Meanwhile, the pulses are getting weaker and everyone is hoping the electricity will come back on soon. And Mark Green faces a rival in Deni's ex-fiance, Craig. There are some tense and emotional moments in this book. The things I didn't like are that there were two or so questionable uses of the Lord's name and one "what the d____". And there's a bit of deceit (though usually because of threats). A few other things I disagreed with but could overlook. There were a few good lessons, but they didn't stand out to me quite as much as in the previous books for some reason.
