The Revenge of Seven by Pittacus Lore

4.0

It's good but it definitely feels like a different vibe then the last book. Where did the sanctuary come from all of a sudden? Why wasn't there any hints beforehand? It definitely seems like something Henri would have told John, so a bit of a plot hole there. Everything going on with the mogadorians definitely feels more like a cult. I don't remember it having that vibe with the other books. I think there's a great plot twist in regards to Setrakus Ra, And I can understand what he wants. I guess I'm having a hard time believing the space colonizer theme going on. It made more sense that they're motives were survival related as mentioned in the 1st book. I think I could have believed space colonizer if that was something we were told from jump. To me it made more sense what we were previously told, that they exploited their planet and couldn't survive so they tried to do the same with Lorien and they couldn't tell, now they doing it with Earth. It makes more sense to me that way because it's what we were told this entire time up until now and so because of that it was thrown up just a little bit last minute that I'm having a hard time grasping the concept I guess? I mean it's not an unbelievable/ unheard of concept it's basically Star Wars. But I don't know, it just took a different direction than I thought.
