Motherhood by Sheila Heti

4.0

The exploration of motherhood will always fascinate me. So many of the words on these pages have put in to place what I've never been able to articulate. There was a part towards the end that lost me, but the flaws are what make the book so raw and real. Heti cracks open the concept of motherhood and deeply examines it, almost obsessively. The level of introspection is incredible, truly dismantling the inner psyche of one who doesn't know if they want to be a mother.
