Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000 by L. Ron Hubbard

4.0

Well this was a very long book. Far superior to the terrible movie. This was actually a pretty good science fiction story with a huge rich multi universe world. The main bad guy was sneaky and interesting. The main good guy was too good and I really disliked him!
The biggest complaint, and why I cant give this five stars is because the technical aspects of the story were so damn boring! I know it's important to the plot how a Psychlo circuit works, but I don't want to know. I don't want three pages of how the main character hides spy cameras. Just say he did and move on.
This is an epic work. Worth reading if you like the golden era style science fiction. Definitely incredibly better than the movie which seems to be related to this book in name and vague plot only.
