Spare by Prince Harry
4.0

I started and then had a long pause before continuing with this, not because of the book itself but because of other commitments. When I did pick it up again recently, I found myself devouring it.

I expect there may have been a ghostwriter involved as well but either way, [b:Spare|62296528|Spare|Prince Harry|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1673458354l/62296528._SY75_.jpg|98097557] is a really engaging and easy read, providing an inside look at Harry's experience in the monarchy. It's often funny, touching and insightful, clearly the thoughts of someone that has done a lot of introspection. He's very matter-of-fact about the situations he found himself in - good and bad - and goes into quite a bit of detail about clashes with family, staff and press.

If you've seen the Netflix series, much of the facts will not come as a surprise but the book is still worth the read for Harry's insight.
