It was a nice read. Even though the theme of domestic violence was central to the story it didn’t feel verry heavy. For me it was a nice pallet cleanser between heavier reads. I dit start the second book but I immediately felt it diminished the end of this one so I DNF’d that one. I would say it would have been better as a stand alone.
