-this is my second book by taylor adams, and i must say he is VERY good at capturing the essence of super creepy men
-also p good at writing FMCs and y'all know how hard it is for male authors to do this lmao
-doesn't take long to figure out what's happening but once you do it's almost nonstop action
-darby was v relatable when it came to her decisions- nothing was done perfectly and no, you wouldn't have done anything better in her situation
-THE BUSDRIVER!!?!
-tbh this woulda been ANOTHER 5 star read but, the dropping of the HARD R N WORD by a white author in a contemporary novel in 2017 is yucky as hell so
-not a ton to note w/o giving stuff away so all i'll say is GO read it rn and then when you are done go read the last word by taylor adams as well if you haven't already
