My first ice hockey story and I just love the main characters, Chase Carter and Bailey James.
Chase plays for the Falcons team, is damn good at his game and lots of other things if you listen to gossip. But nobody tells you what a sweet and thoughtful human being he is.
Bailey has been a long time lover of the sport. Her and her brother, Derek, have skated since they could walk but money couldn’t put them both through with ice hockey and so Derek was the one to carry on and Bailey was still obssessed and went onto to study journalism, sports being her subject.
It all hits the fan when Luke breaks up with her on her 21st birthday and she finds her house friends aren’t really her friends after all. He’s a ice hockey player too and plays on the same team as Derek. She’s lucky she has other friends and comes across Chase one night, him not knowing who she is, is taken by her beauty almost instantly. She decides she hates him, but he’s kinda hot.
What’s going to happen between them?

‘Fraternising with the enemy is definitely out of the question. Except this enemy is impossible to resist’

You just have to read this book to find out more.
I love Dallas and Shiv, Chase and Bailey.
Luke is a character which I dislike and Kristen isn’t far behind.
Lots of details about ice hockey and I felt the author knew her way round the game. It wasn’t too much info and I needed the detail as it got me excited to know what was going to go on next.
The cover is bloody stunning too. 🔥🔥.
Thank you @averykeelan for a fabulous book.
