Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology
by Leah Remini
This was the first book I've read from start to finish in a long time. I tend to get distracted and not finish books quite a bit, but this book held my interest.
I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there were a few times where a story was started and never really finished, but it was never anything that interfered with the overall story. The main one I remember was the chapter that started with her talking about Saved by the Bell, but I felt like the chapter went off in a different direction and never circled back to resolve why she started talking about the show. Maybe I just missed something, but I felt like that happened a couple other times as well.
Aside from that, it was fascinating to read. I became interested in her story after listening to Oh No Ross and Carrie's investigation into Scientology. Kudos to her for using her platform to share what goes on. It's heartbreaking to think of the lives that have been ruined or severely negatively impacted by this group.
