While I did really enjoy this continuation of Valentine's story, I didn't like it quite as much as the first one. I got more frustrated with Valentine, but I think that's because I connected with her so much and I just wanted her to make the right decisions. I was also a little frustrated with some of the story lines of secondary characters. All of the characters are so vibrant and I loved the new family found in this book. A really interesting second book in a trilogy.
