Rating 4.5 stars - only because I felt then ending was rushed

"I’m here for you kid, that’s what friends are for" Okay, I like - love Kenji in this book. He’s honest, sweet, lends a listening ear to Juliette. He’s still a bully — but in a sweet way.

Adam’s outburst - where is tells Juliette that he was happier assuming she was dead was better, really made me see what their relationship was. As Kenji put it, he was the first person who was nice to her. So naturally, Juliette tried to mold herself to fit Adam’s idea of a women. She was over the moon about him protecting her, caring for her. But that turned into Adam acting like she belongs to Adam and is her property.

Whereas, Warner — Aaron! treats her an equal, doesn’t step all over her self esteem, her individuality. He.Is.So.PERFECT!!!

The quotes in this book are a chef’s kiss. Honestly, quotes in this entire series are amazing. There one about words by Juliette. How words fed to us at in early age root their way into us and it’s so beautifully written

The only I didn’t like about this book — IT WAS SUCH A RUSHED ENDING!
