The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber

4.0

Has is been nearly a month since I finished this book? Yes.
Does that stop me from being embroiled in fury when my mind wanders back to this book? NO!

Stephanie has the nerve to lead me once again into this false sense of security. This woman manages to entrap me in The Hollow, as if everything is just going to be fine and dandy, as if this book is not TITLED "The Ballad of Never After" and things won't have to possibly shatter into something worse. . .

But to do that once wouldn't drive home the Never she has to bring us back to light for just the briefest moments, just to best emphasize just how back the darkness is.

Because what is worse death, or losing who you are as a person?
