Jemma and Matt are visiting Matt’s childhood friends house for his wedding! Congratulations to Lucas and Nina…right?

It’s not that simple. The morning of the wedding Jemma wakes up to screaming, and to Lucas hovering over a dead body. The wedding is cancelled and all the guests return home, well those still alive.

A year on, the guests return to celebrate the anniversary of Nina and Lucas. But Lucas has other plans in mind. One of the guests has a secret, and Lucas needs to know who and why. Will they all make it through the Murder Game? Alive? With their secrets in tact? And still in love with their partners? I can’t promise that.

Honestly, what a book! A very nice, quick, and easy read. I read this after reading GGBB, which managed to pull me out of a slump, and I was worried this would send me straight back into one… but it kept me well afloat! Two thriller/mystery books in a row was a great idea.

When I tell you I questioned everyone, I mean everyone! The man putting a marquee up in the garden with literally no name or description? Guilty!

By the name, it is not what I expected. I really thought it was gonna be some crazy Cluedo, weird cultish family style kill thing and it really was not! Thankfully, or maybe not, that could’ve been interesting too…

But overall this was really engaging! The middle class, white man with lap dog energy really grated me, but in the absolute best way possible.

Also, I want to see this remade into a film. Simply so I can see Lucas in action.

A small review because I don’t want to give any spoilers! But if you see this it’s definitely worth picking up! I think it literally cost me £1 in the charity shop.

However, there are a lot of TWs so please check them before you read!
