Daisy Haites by Jessa Hastings

3.5

Daisy's story was not what i was expecting. It reflected Magnolia & Bj in some ways. I quite enjoyed having Julian's perspective as well to prevent it from feeling like reading the first book again (though having soo many scenes from book 1 retold it felt kinda tedious). Not to mention, we are told a lot of information and not shown as much, to be convinced and get a grasp of character motivations.

I will say Daisy did win me over the more I learnt about her however, I can't say the same for Christian. My dislike of him inceased the more I read from his pov. I went from feeling really bad for him in book 1 to thinking how much self awarness he actually lacks. I imagine it will be pretty hard to read books about characters I don't ship.
