As someone who is in a 4 years long relationship, I understand Charlie’s concern. I was so afraid that my partner find our relationship too mundane as we keep doing the same thing over and over again. We work, text each other, we go out when we can, repeat. And knowing some of your friend’s relationship broken apart while having these doubts can really mess you up. The important lesson here is to communicate. If you don’t like something, talk to your partner. Figure out a way together instead of assuming.
