The Secret Lives of Booksellers and Librarians by Matt Eversmann, James Patterson
4.0

"libraries don’t make parenting decisions, and parents shouldn’t make library choices for everyone else’s children"

this is a very reassuring read that yes, I am in the right career. A lot of it feels very romanticized, but to be fair, it is an easy world to romanticize. The only problems I really have with this collection is James Patterson. 1. it's James Patterson. 2. the amount of stories I believe he chose simply because it mentions him. 3. the organization of this is abysmal and simply nonexistent. 4. I would've liked stories from people outside of American and Canada. 5. it's James Patterson
