3.5 stars but rounding up. I am continuing my reading of the Miss Marple series and I am really enjoying it. This one was a little bit different because we actually got Miss Marple pretty much from the very beginning of the book which I really enjoyed. There have been some of the books in the series where she doesn’t come until the halfway point or even further along than that.
Miss Marple is asked by childhood friend Ruth to go stay with her sister Carrie Louise. Ruth feels that something ominous is going on and she just doesn’t know what it is. Miss Marble agrees to go and we soon are at the country estate learning more about Carrie Louise and all of the people that live at her house. I definitely like mysteries when they are in an isolated setting or feature a big large home. My only critique of this book that made it not a five star and brought it down was I didn’t particularly care for the ending and I thought that it was just Ehhhhh.
