This book was like a love letter to my sixteen-year-old "Pride and Prejudice" (2005) obsessed, dramatic and theatrical, very romantic and yet highly inexperienced, endearingly awkward self. I identified with Mary so much it's maybe embarrassing, and overall, reading—er, listening to this was such a cathartic, dare I say it therapeutic experience. Even at 27, I loved this story so much.
