Mixed feelings. Some of the writing was incredible and quite loving but at times it was a lil cringe. It’s a story where we are meant to root for Kya but I couldn’t always get behind that. you can’t murder someone and expect the town not to hate you??? like yes Chase was a dick and was awful to Kya but that doesn’t mean she should get away with murder. Also tate and Kya’s relationship made me uncomfortable at times. “his feelings for her that seemed tangled up between the sweet love for a lost sister and the fiery love for a girl” That’s rlly weird
