Deposing Nathan
by Zack Smedley
3.5 stars, rounding up to 4.
Oh, Nate. Nate, Nate, Nate.
This book...I don’t quite know how I feel about it. For the first 100 pages, I wasn’t quite sold on it; the middle chunk, I was angry, I was sad, I was disgusted; by the end, I was just flat-out sobbing my eyes out in the best way possible.
TL; DR: A powerful, realistic, and absolutely devastating coming of age tale that breaks your heart over and over and over again. Worth the read for sure.
