Dragons, sapphics, mages, and castle secrets. Priory encourages you to take a bite, ride the back of a dragon, wield a sword (or stone), kiss the ones you love, and never tell a soul.
I think that this book would have excelled as a series of shorter books; the transitions sometimes were overwhelming and made it difficult for me to digest something that had happened. Less of a cliffhanger and more of an 'aw shit I need to reread the last 5 pages because I'm confused'.
There were some characters that I wished to see more fleshed out (ahem, nearly all of them). I wished to know/see more of the world that was talked about between characters, but I guess thats what you get when you read a political drama.
I didnt feel quite satisfied with the ending and Im curious about what the prequel offers.
