 Chris Bohjalian is becoming one of my favorite authors. I read The Double Bind years ago and loved it, and The Night Strangers was even better. All the way through, I fought my assumptions about what was happening, choosing instead to allow the story to take me where it would, and straight into the greenhouse I went. Highly recommend this one for the witches and more magically inclined folks among us.
