Rules of Civility by Amor Towles
4.0
Beautiful period piece of 1938 New York City filled with the glamor of the socialite scene. Katy finds herself climbing the ranks of society throughout the course of a year. This book has wonderful descriptions of New York which gave me that feeling of when you step into a city and are just filled with possibility. Wasn’t a huge fan of the plot, but I really enjoyed the vibes this book gave. Also amazing quotes and writing. Cannot believe this was his debut!
