Waiting for You by Susane Colasanti

4.0

I feel like this book was great. I loved reading it and I couldn't stop reading it either. It's a fairly simple romantic plot, but it's nicely written with a twist that the MC has an anxiety disorder. I felt that part was pretty realistic.

I think the main issue with this book was the MC and the focus on the MC. We barely learned about the other characters because the MC never told us much. I liked Nash, but I didn't feel that his personality was expressed enough. The two spent the whole year together, but we got very few glimpses of it.

Also, the MC in this one was very immature. I think that happens with Colasanti's heroines. I don't think that's a bad thing. It's just not my cup of tea? When compared with Dessen heroines who are usually very composed and mature, it's startling.

Overall though, a cute read! I quite enjoyed it!
