Me if I were an author by trade and wanted to write off an expensive food and wine tour through europe as a business expense on my taxes

all jokes aside I really wish a cookbook were released alongside this book. I would eat it up!

I can’t lie that I felt impatient with the characters. they were whiny and childish throughout the entire book, and I felt that little to no believable growth occurred. I did finish this book however, so it was certainly fun to tune in, learn about the food and important historical sites on the tour, and cringe at some of their actions. while I can’t say that I would recommend this book, I’m happy that so many characters were openly queer.

Lastly, for all the sex happening here, I wanted to see more sexual hygiene, more STD tests, more responsible conversations about what sex means. I wasn’t a fan of the sex competition centering locals or the lack of sex education displayed here. these were big missteps in my opinion.
