I struggled with a rating for this book. But I decided on a 3. I didn’t hate it and I didn’t love it. I wanted more from it! I didn’t like that for all of part one we were in his POV and then in part two it switched to dual POV, I found myself still constantly thinking we were in his head and not hers.
I liked the back and forth between the two characters (story wise), and the phone sex scene. That was done really nicely! The first sex scene was good as well, then I was confused as to why it needed to go into more then one chapters onwards from that. I understand we were switching POVs but it was really confusing to me.
I thought the whole plot thing was way to fast to be included properly, would have liked to see that done better, but instead it just felt like a rushed last minute thing to me.
I didn’t like all the jumping it did, it made it hard to stay with where we were, it was way too fast paced. I feel this book would have been even better had there been another 50-100 pages in it.
I’m honestly not 100% sure if I’ll continue with the next book in the series or not. I likely will try it, I just don’t know if I’ll finish it or not.
