Girl Walks into a Bar . . .: Comedy Calamities, Dating Disasters, and a Midlife Miracle by Rachel Dratch

2.0

This one didn't really work for me. I thought it had moments of humor, but largely I found it whiny, unfunny, and uneven. I would have loved to hear about SNL and Second City experiences if they were different from Tina Fey's but they're not. And Tina's are better. I was kind of like, "Tina already taught me about 'Yes, And', RACHEL" but I kept it to myself hoping it would get better.

I think Rachel's talk of accidental (some might say "miraculous") childbirth was funnier, more original, and really the best part of the book.

Overall, kind of a let down, unfortch. I've already forgotten most of this book.
