I always really like books written in verse and I enjoyed reading this! 
For me the writing in a Scottish accent was a bit annoying but I'm Scottish and that usually annoys me anyway so maybe for others it was fine. 
For me it was really cool to see Category Is Books mentioned and I laughed at the mention of the people make glasgow posters. Also the fact they were studying Jackie Kay and Edwin Morgan, horribly accurate depiction of nat 5 English
