Dandelion Wine
by Ray Bradbury
This is my second time reading this book and I am just as enthralled as I was the first time, almost 10 years ago.
What real dandelion wine is to Douglas, Bradbury's "Dandelion Wine" will always be to me. The Spaulding family captured the bittersweet magic of passing summers in their wine; Bradbury captures this same inexplicable heart-wrenching experience in his writing. This is the book to pick up on a winter morning of one's own.
