Things I learned while reading this:
1. Brothers suck, especially when they’re evil.
2. Power = temptation, which is actually common knowledge so I’m not sure why I’m including it in this list.
3. If you’re a main character in a fantasy novel, you have to be an orphan with a tragic past and at least one evil sibling.
4. You don’t need romance for a book to be good. That being said, LESBIANS.
5. Me and my clumsy ass would die trying to climb the Hirana.
6. Authority figures = bad.
7. Spoiler I’m pretty sure Malini is rapidly becoming morally grey and this is her fall arc.
