My friend wrote this. I dreaded opening this book because I was so scared it would suck. How do you tell your friend their book sucks? (Like, you don’t, obvs… but I’m such a shit liar.)
I can tell you, with confidence. This book does NOT SUCK.
It’s so so so great.
Bethany is one of my favorite human beings of all time - and this book simultaneously confirmed all the things I love about her, in addition to giving me a thousand other reasons to love her.
The pacing is fantastic. I enjoyed every page. Her humour and candor are an absolute joy. Her wit shines and her descriptions immerse you in the story as if you are right there with her.
Chefs kiss. 5 stars. 10/10. Would eat here again.
